Business Development

  • Define and execute the product roadmap for international and domestic transfers through wallets and banks
  • Identify market opportunities, customer pain points, and emerging trends in global remittances and payments.
  • Champion user-centric design and frictionless payment flows.
  • Collaborate with UX/UI teams to optimize onboarding, transaction tracking, and customer support touchpoints.
  • Work closely with engineering, compliance, operations, and marketing teams to deliver high-impact features.

GTM & CVM (engagement & Retention)

  • Ensure growth of product adoption by driving usage, growth of unique users, value transacted and revenue in the assigned portfolios.
  • Identify cross selling opportunities to maximize revenue.
  • Have a comprehensive understanding of product processes.
  • Manage all communications, customer engagements and meetings with partners.
  • Coordinate with external partners including banks, payment processors, and FX providers.
  • Coordinate with Marketing, CX and Usage & Retention team to develop initiatives to increase usage of products and services. (Campaigns)  

Compliance

  • Ensure proper onboarding of partners including up to date contracts and due diligence.
  • Ensure products meet regulatory requirements across jurisdictions (AML, KYC etc.)

Manage the product development road map

  • Work with the cx team and carry out market research on new product innovations.
  • Develop business cases to enhance new product development within the assigned segment and Airtel Money as a whole.
  • Work with IT in prioritization of products and services to be developed.
  • Coordinate with Group Airtel Money for support and customization of products that address segment /market needs. 
  • Perform User Acceptance Tests (UATs) before go live on Airtel Money test platform.
  • Develop Project Plans for new products and manage the plans to Go Live stage.
  • Coordinate the new products & Services life cycle.
  • Monitor and evaluate the products & services performance after rolling out.

Benchmarking & market research

  • Conduct thorough market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and threats. Use this data to inform product development and positioning.

Performance management & Reports 

  • Conduct Daily, weekly, Monthly reviews to track and monitor performance against business targets.
  • Monitor key metrics such as transaction success rate, cost per transfer, FX margins, and customer satisfaction.
  • Prepare timely management reports highlighting performance against set business KRAs.
  • Drive continuous improvement through data analysis, A/B testing, and feedback loops.
  • Produce and deliver required reports for the business on demand. 
  • Other duties may be assigned by the line manager.
     

Qualifications

Educational Level (Must have)

  • Bachelors in business administration, Marketing, Finance, Commerce or Equivalent

Relevant Experience

  • 3-year experience in product management, preferably in fintech, payments, or remittances

Other Dimensions

  • MBA is an added advantage.
  • Strong understanding of international money movement, SWIFT, SEPA, ACH, and real-time payment systems.
  • Familiarity with regulatory frameworks and compliance in financial services.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience working with APIs, mobile apps, and digital wallets is a plus.
  • Negotiation Skills.
  • Communications and interpersonal skills.

Analyst: Reporting & Analysis at Airtel

Daily Reporting Process – CWN

  • Performing detailed reviewing on Daily CWN report and informs the business on the past, present and future
  • Ensure accuracy of Daily CWN data and challenge unusual trend
  • Ensure timely reporting of CWN
  • Performing variance analysis between CWN and MAPA

Monthly NFIs Upload

  • Performing detailed reviewing on NFIs
  • Ensure accuracy of NFIs
  • Ensure timely reporting of the NFIs and ensure correct data uploaded in NFI portal
  • Performing reconciliation between CWN & MAPA for NFIs

Planning & Forecasting

 

  • Preparation of monthly Flash & Forecast (F&F)
  • Review of Monthly/Quarterly Analysis of Variance
  • Monitoring of Variance analysis against AOP/Flash

Prepare & Update Long Term Business Projections

  • Pre-launch analysis (product Configuration Note/PCN) for various products
  • Post launch analysis of products launched
  • Product profitability analysis

Regulatory Reporting

  • Regulatory reporting TCRA, NBS

External Benchmarking

  • Issue quarterly competitor analysis (when required)
  • Review of monthly Mark to Market KPIs

Daily, Monthly & Quarterly Reporting Packs

  • Preparation of monthly reports for HQ deliverables
  • Preparation of Daily Revenue Indicator (DRI) and other reports
  • Variance analysis between CWN/DRI and MAPA
  • Prepare monthly reporting packs for function (if required)

Educational Qualifications & Functional /Technical Skills    

  • Graduate, Professional qualification in Accounting (ACCA/CPA)

Relevant Experience (Type of experience and minimum number of years)

  • 2-3 years preferably in public practice, Communication & Telecom
  • In-depth knowledge of the telecoms industry
  • Strong Analytical skills & MS Excel proficiency

Handling Partners queries

  • Handle all partner queries and resolve them accordingly.
  • Educate partners on process flow and update them on invoice status
        

Invoice Management

  • Receive all invoices
  • Check the completeness of invoices and return to partners if not completed
  • Scan & attach all Invoices along with supporting documents
  • Enter & Attach in Oracle
  • Match in the system and initiate approval
  • Monitor the progress of:
    •    non matched invoices and follow-up/ escalate with user/function head for timely approval
    •    invoices sent back to partners for details or clarifications but not received back
    •    Monitor Invoice approval through the dashboard & follow-up with the user / department head

Timely payment follow ups    

  • Proactive & Reactive follow-up for release of payments
  • Escalate in case of delay
     

Qualifications

Educational Qualifications & Functional/Technical Skills    

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounts or its equivalent
  • Functional knowledge of Accounting Operations
  • Functional knowledge of Finance Operations
  • Experience of using ERP AP Module 

Relevant Experience (Type of experience and minimum number of years) 

  • 2-year minimum experience in related job.
