Position Objective The Senior Manager Data Centre role involves frequent interaction with technology and customers throughout the workday. Strong technical, planning, and troubleshooting skills are essential, along with a deep understanding of IT infrastructure and IT services in the financial sector to provide sound and reliable advice to the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain data centre infrastructure services, including power, ventilation, cooling, equipment racking configuration, and cabling.
  • Oversee first- to third-level infrastructure operations support for the organization on a 24/7 basis, with on-call support during off-hours for initial response to disruptions, outages, and incidents.
  • Assist with the implementation and promotion of cybersecurity best practices and lead cyber incident management.
  • Ensure recovery procedures for all technology hardware are operational and routinely validated.
  • Manage data centre infrastructure, including network and application systems, and assist with planning and deploying infrastructure security measures.
  • Maintain backup infrastructure for both bare-metal and virtual machines with appropriate SAN, network, or local storage configurations, using Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) and third-party tools on UNIX, Linux, and Windows environments.
  • Ensure smooth operation of data centre infrastructure services.
  • Manage ICT risks related to data centre infrastructure and ensure risk and control policies align with the bank’s risk appetite.
  • Drive modernization of infrastructure, including potential virtualization of the data centre.
  • Review and ensure data centre change management controls are in place.
  • Review systems-related projects before implementation to verify compliance with necessary standards and controls.
  • Coordinate efforts across ICT operational areas to minimize duplication, maximize efficiency, and ensure value for money.
  • Contribute to business unit strategy development by providing insights on potential product or service improvements and assessing current and anticipated external changes.
  • Pre-plan and prepare for audits by identifying potential ICT risk areas and processes, and participate in risk control assessment development.
  • Ensure the availability of business continuity and disaster recovery plans.
  • Monitor compliance with ICT policies and advise management on gaps through periodic reviews.
  • Coordinate the closure of ICT policy and control gaps identified by audits or self-reviews by engaging management to define, agree, and monitor progress.
  • Manage patches for systems within the data centre infrastructure.
  • Oversee third-party ICT vendors for data centre support and administration.
  • Provide input for fiscal year capital and operational budgeting of technology-related resources.

Position Objective The main purpose of the job is to manage the Collection and Recovery Sub-unit to ensure the turnaround of classified loan portfolios, including SME, MSE, and consumer loans, in line with the business strategy, credit policy, and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive delinquent retail loans with exposure below and consumer loans with above 91 days past due for collection purposes.
  • Maximize collections and recoveries of non-performing retail portfolios, including consumer loans, digital loans, MSE, and SME loans.
  • Conduct reviews of delinquent loans and establish strategies to turn them around, ensuring a high-quality performing credit portfolio in line with the business strategy.
  • Establish compliance for the recovery process, including issuing demand notices against existing securities or guarantees.
  • Advise branches and management on turnaround plans and follow up on their implementation with the credit department and branches.
  • Visit borrowers with non-performing facilities to assess and establish cash flows available to support proposed payment plans.
  • Monitor payments on a monthly basis for non-performing borrowers with settlement arrangements with the bank on the outstanding loan amount.
  • Liaise with stakeholders, including branches, departments within the bank, clients, government institutions, the Central Bank, and other financial institutions, to ensure the bank’s interests are properly represented and safeguarded.
  • Review unit reports and related processes and procedures to ensure sound quality control and recommend appropriate interventions in line with the business strategy.
  • Lead and demonstrate leadership to the team to perform and achieve expected results.
  • Present and prepare liquidation and turnaround deals that offer minimum cost and maximum return to the bank.
  • Perform any other official duties assigned by the immediate supervisor or line manager.

Key Responsibilities
