Engage as volunteer teachers in primary schools under local government authorities.

Work primarily in schools identified as having the highest need for teachers, including remote areas.

Follow the Primary Teacher Allocation Protocol (P-TAP) set out in the GPE-TSP project guidelines.
Eligibility Criteria:

Academic Qualifications:
-
Certificate in Primary Education (Grade III A Teacher), or
-
Diploma in Education for Early Childhood, or
-
Diploma in Primary Education (Grade III B Teacher).

General Requirements:
-
Must be a Tanzanian citizen.
-
Age must not exceed 43 years.
-
Provide certified copies of the following documents:
-
Birth certificate
-
Secondary school certificate (Form IV or VI)
-
Teacher training certificate or diploma
-
-
Must be willing to work in primary schools with high demand for volunteer teachers, especially in peripheral areas.

Must not be employed by the government or any other institution.
-
Must have never been dismissed or retired prematurely from public service due to misconduct.

Must possess a valid National Identification Number (NIDA).
-
Applicants educated abroad for secondary school must have a verification number (“EQ…” prefix) from the Tanzania Examinations Council (NECTA).

Ensure you meet all eligibility criteria and have all required documents scanned and ready.
