Sales Business Analyst at MultiChoice

Purpose of the Position

Analyzing sales data, identifying trends and opportunities, developing strategies to increase sales, and providing insights to the sales team.

Key Performance Objectives

Recommended:

Sales Target

  • Collect, consolidate and generate weekly sales forecasts (month and quarter focus) and roll up each.
  • Weekly numbers to Sales Management.
  • Develop presentations that analyze sales activities and achievements.
  • Reporting and analysis for the Sales department, including Executive reporting of Sales results, Key metrics and KPIs, Campaign tracking and analysis, and ad hoc strategic analysis.
  • Implements and manages reports and dashboards in Sales meetings ensuring Sales Managers, Reps and Leaders are aligned.
  • Have access to key data required to successfully manage the business.
  • Monitors the accuracy and efficient distribution of sales reports and external intelligence essential to the sales organization.
  • Recommends revisions to existing reports or assists in the development of new reporting tools as needed.

Operational Delivery

  • Evaluating business processes, anticipating requirements, uncovering areas for improvement, and developing and implementing solutions.
  • Leading ongoing reviews of business processes and developing optimization strategies.
  • Effectively communicating your insights and plans to cross-functional team members and management.
  • Gathering critical information from meetings with various stakeholders and producing useful reports.
  • Ensuring solutions meet business needs and requirements.
  • Managing projects, developing project plans, and monitoring performance.
  • Prioritizing initiatives based on business needs and requirements.
  • Serving as a liaison between stakeholders and users.
  • Managing competing resources and priorities.
  • Monitoring deliverables and ensuring timely completion of projects.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Business, Marketing or related degree.

Experience

  • 3-plus years in a Business Analyst or similar role
  • Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical abilities.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Excellent systems skills including Excel & PowerPoint are required.
  • Sales & distribution knowledge
