THAT REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND QUALIFICATIONS  
1 JOB TITLE: Dentist Grade II – TGHS E (3 POSITIONS)

QUALIFICATIONS OF THE APPLICANT

Hiring those who have graduated and passed the Fourth/Sixth Form/Diploma, with a Doctorate/Dentistry Degree from Universities/Colleges recognized by the Government who have completed an "Internship" of at least twelve months and obtained registration from the Tanganyika Medical Council (Medical Council of Tanganyika).

Duties and Responsibilities:

i. To perform all medical work in the hospital related to oral and dental diseases.

ii. Participating in developing and managing the implementation of Government Policy on oral and dental health.

iii. Supervising the implementation of national programs related to oral and dental health.

iv. To prepare the self-development education of oral and dental health workers.

v. Investigating, monitoring and preventing disease outbreaks.

v. Designing and preparing strategies to improve the quality of service in his field.

vii. Prepare access to equipment and other needs for dentistry at the national level.

viii. To advise the ministry on the operation of oral and dental health activities in the country.

ix. Designing, managing and conducting research in various areas of health.

  x. Teaching students in health colleges located in his area of ​​work.

3 JOB TITLE: Technologist Class II – TGHS B (28 POSITIONS)

i. Technologist Class II – Prosthetics (11 Positions)

iii. Technologist Grade II – Radiology (2 Positions)

QUALIFICATIONS OF THE APPLICANT

Recruiting graduates of the fourth/sixth form with a Diploma in the field of Artificial Organs Technology for a period of three years from a College recognized by the Government and who are registered with the Academic Council.

Duties and Responsibilities :

JOB TITLE: Technologist Grade II – Prosthetic Organs

i. Giving advice in the prosthetics clinic

ii. Keeping statistics of disabled people

iii. Designing equipment to be used for the disabled (Prosthesis/Orthosis).

iv. Making adjustments/maintenance of disabled equipment (Prosthesis/Orthosis)

v. Examining the disabled person to understand the type of prosthesis needed.

v. Planning procedures for the correct creation of artificial limbs.

vii. Taking measurements (cast) related to prosthetics

viii. Prosthesis/Orthosis

ix. Dressing the disabled person with artificial limbs and making necessary adjustments when necessary (Prosthesis/Orthosis)

x. Teaching the disabled the use and hygiene of artificial limbs (osthesis/Orthosis)

xi. Organizing work and training subordinates.

xii. Giving advice on the best use of shoes.

xiii. To do other tasks that will be assigned by his head of work related to his education, experience and skills

  JOB TITLE: Technologist Grade II – Eyes

i. Conducting visual inspection and treatment

ii. Refer patients to higher levels, requiring more expertise

iii. Provide counseling

iv. Care and repair of damage to optical equipment

v. Making glasses and repairing all kinds of glasses

v. To do other tasks that will be assigned by his head of work related to his education, experience and skills.


JOB TITLE: Technologist Grade II – Radiology

(i) Examining patients referred to his workplace

(ii) To take care of Radiology equipment and equipment in his work area

(iii) Checking X-ray images measured for quality and adequacy (diagnostic quality)

(iv) Keeping pictures of patients until the answers reach the doctors who sent the patients

(v) Supervise the employees under him

(vi) Providing advice on Radiology and Radiation issues in his work area.

(vii) Preparing medical/diagnostic equipment and managing the cleaning of equipment in his work area (sterilization)

(viii) Provide initial training to employees who are assigned to work in their work area.

JOB TITLE: Grade Nutrition Officer – TGS D (10 POSITIONS) QUALIFICATIONS OF THE APPLICANT

Employed with a first degree in nutrition, Nutritional Science and Nutrition, or Food Science and Food Technology (BSc – Nutrition, Home Economics and Nutrition, Food Science and Technology, Food Science) or a Higher Diploma in Nutrition ) from a Higher Education College recognized by the Government.

Duties and Responsibilities

i. Collecting nutrition information and statistics from various stakeholders and groups and providing advice on healthy nutrition in

  district level

ii. Analyzing nutrition statistics and preparing information on children and other undernourished groups.

iii. Participating in preparing nutrition plans and budgets at the district level

iv. Provide regular information on the state of nutrition at the district level

Supervise nutrition work in the district.

v. To do other tasks that will be assigned by his head of work related to his education, experience and skills

5 JOB TITLE: Health Assistant – TGHOS A (174 POSITIONS)

QUALIFICATIONS OF THE APPLICANT

Employment of Fourth Form graduates who have completed one year training in the field of Health, Community Health (NTA level 4) or any similar training from Health Colleges recognized by the Government.

Duties and Responsibilities

i. Cleaning work equipment, places to provide health services as well as the environment surrounding the center.

ii. Helping a helpless patient, for example, feeding him, defecating, personal hygiene, etc.

iii. Collecting dirty clothes and sending them to the laundry.

iv. Sending patient samples for laboratory tests and monitoring responses.

v. Transporting patients between one ward and another within the health care facility.

v. Maintain sanitary facilities.

vii. Receiving, sending to the storage room, washing and caring for the corpse.

viii. To do other activities that will be assigned by his work leader.

ix. Educating the community on the importance of environmental and physical hygiene to protect against disease outbreaks.

6 JOB TITLE: Nurse II – TGHS A (20 POSITIONS)

QUALIFICATIONS OF THE APPLICANT

Recruiting graduates who have passed Form Four or Six with a two-year Nursing certificate from a College recognized by the Government and enrolled (Enrolled) by the Tanzania Nurses and Midwives Council.
