DESIGNATION/POSITION: BRANCH MANAGER -REF NO. 2022/05/3

Key Responsibilities:

  • Meet branch targets as set from time to time.
  • To market and sale of Banks’ products.
  • Manage service delivery and ensure adherence to branch service standards.
  • To direct and support branch operations to ensure efficient and accurate processing of all transactions, to maintain operational controls and compliance with rules, procedures, and regulations.
  • Controls and procedures on “Know Your Customer” and Customer Due Diligence introduced to address money laundering prevention and compliance risk.
  • Any other duties that may be assigned from time to time.
Education Level:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing /Business administration/ Finance/
Experience:
  • 2-3 years of experience in financial services/ branch manager /assistant branch manager in a Bank.

DESIGNATION/POSITION: HEAD OF BRANCH OPERATIONS REF NO. 2022/05/1
This role incorporates contact with the Bank’s customers through Customer Service, Service Quality, Cash Management and Managing the centralised back-office function, which includes Clearing and Fund Transfer.

Responsibilities:
  • Assume responsibility of the Bank’s service delivery for all bank customers.
  • Develop new and improved Service Delivery Channels to ensure the Bank remains competitive.
  • Put an MIS system that will enable continuous tracking of the department’s performance, monitoring of customer satisfaction and provision of management reports.
  • Organise, develop, and maintain front office operations and support structure.
  • Manage Bank’s exposure to external and internal risks at the service delivery front, including adherence to procedures, optimum cash management within set limits, and physical security of bank staff and assets.
  • Manage a business continuity plan for service delivery.
  • Prepare and present returns/reports for Bank of Tanzania and Management in relation to Bank Operations.
  • To attend promptly to Customers queries and complaints.
Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelors/Master’s degree holder in relevant professional qualification in banking/finance and accounting from a reputable institution.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a banking industry.
  • Knowledge and experience in organizational effectiveness and operations management.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative management style and managing staff groups.
  • A demonstrated commitment to high professional ethical standards and a diverse workplace.
  • Proven leadership and people management skills.
  • Full knowledge of BOT Legislations, Regulations and Guidelines and other compliance implications.

DESIGNATION/POSITION: BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT OFFICER – REF NO. 2022/05/2
The Business Development Officer reports to the Business Development Manager.
Responsibilities:
  • Co-ordinate with Branch Managers and Senior Management to develop strategies for Business
  • Develop business in both Liabilities and Assets
  • Cross selling of Bank Products and Services to Customers.Analyze customer requirements and develop appropriate Banking Products.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with small, medium and large customers and Government organizations to initiate increase in Business.

Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing.
  • 2-3 years of sales & marketing experience preferably in the Banking sector.
  • Managing and executing campaigns would be an advantage.
