Administrator, People & Culture Operations at Standard Bank
Job Description
To provide various consulting services across the entire Payroll life cycle, including but not limited to the testing of all SAP People and Culture Management new applications, query resolutions, as well as the development and submission of reports up to and including the Bank File execution for a dedicated portfolio in order to ensure accuracy and operational efficiency and effectiveness. Mitigate risk to SAP HR and to identify non-compliance and risk by adhering to strict testing standards.

Experience within a financial services organisation would be critical. A

links between the Payroll and all other HR processes and systems would
be required.

Head, Payments Transaction Banking at Standard Bank
As the Head of Payments for Stanbic Bank Tanzania’s Corporate and Investment Banking (CIB) division, you will be the primary architect and champion of our payment’s strategy. This is a high-visibility leadership role designed to transform the Tanzanian financial landscape by solving real-world problems for local, large regional corporates and global organizations.
You will hold end-to-end accountability for the full lifecycle of Domestic and Cross-Border Payments, Physical Cash Solutions, and Liquidity Management. By driving product innovation and a high-performance sales strategy, you will maximize market share and optimize the bank’s balance sheet.
Qualifications
Type of Qualification: First Degree
Field of Study: Finance, Economics, Engineering or related field
Other Qualification: MBA or professional certification (e.g., CertICM) is highly preferred
Experience Required:
- 10 plus years in Transactional Banking or Payments, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role within a top-tier bank.
- 5-7 years experience working within a multinational banking environment.
- Deep expertise in East African payment rails, liquidity management structures, and the nuances of Tanzanian financial regulations.
- Experience working in a similar role that combined product management and business development responsibilities within the Tanzanian banking market.
- Familiarity with regional and global financial market trends, particularly in Africa
