Job Description for Power Plant technician Mechanical.
Experience: Required 3 to 5 years in mechanical maintenance
a) Education: VETA certificate (Fitter mechanics& welding& cutting)

Essential skills required:
Fully skilled with repairing mechanical parts
Able to take an orderly approach with overcoming both machinery and process problems and work with others to resolve issues effectively
Knowledgeable in welding & cutting & fitting techniques
Responsibilities
Inspection of equipment.
Dealing with running and breakdown jobs.
Dealing with various improvement jobs.
Doing general lubrications and greasing jobs.
Shaft alignments of machinery
Bearing & coupling replacement as per standard procedure
Overhaul of equipment as per Operation and Maintenance manual.
