Position Objective

The Partnership Support Officer will assist in managing and coordinating strategic partnerships that drive the bank’s digital products—including loans, savings, insurance, and other innovative financial services.

The role ensures seamless collaboration with partners, provides administrative and operational support, and monitors partnership deliverables to enhance product uptake, customer experience, and revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities

Partnership Coordination and Support

  • Monitor partnership performance and ensure compliance with contractual obligations.

  • Act as a liaison between internal product teams and external partners for smooth integration and operations.

  • Track partner commitments, follow up on pending issues, and ensure timely resolution.

Operational and Administrative Support

  • Maintain an updated partnership database, dashboards, and performance trackers.

  • Draft and review correspondence, reports, proposals, and MoUs related to digital financial products.

  • Coordinate partnership-related meetings, workshops, and product launches, including preparing agendas, presentations, and minutes.

  • Handle day-to-day partner requests and escalations.

Reporting and Monitoring

  • Collect and analyze data on partnership performance (customer adoption, transaction volumes, and revenue contribution).

  • Prepare periodic performance reports and updates for management.

  • Support product monitoring, evaluation, and reporting processes to measure impact and identify growth opportunities.

Product and Relationship Support

  • Collaborate with internal teams (Digital Banking, Product Development, Operations, and Marketing) to align partnership activities with business goals.

  • Manage partner relationships to ensure mutual benefit and sustainability.

  • Provide insights on customer needs and market trends to enhance digital product performance.

Qualifications, Skills, and Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Banking, Economics, Commerce, Business Administration, Accountancy, Finance, Entrepreneurship, Marketing, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent qualifications from recognized institutions.

  • At least ten (10) years of relevant experience.

Position objective

The main purpose of the role is to manage the Collection and Recovery Sub-unit to ensure turnaround of classified loan portfolios for SME, MSE, and Consumer segments.
This should align with the bank’s business strategy, credit policy, and procedures.

Key responsibilities

  1. Manage all accounts in arrears for 90 days or more from different loan officer portfolios.

  2. Contact reachable clients via phone and conduct physical visits to serve demand letters and encourage repayment, while educating them on the implications of non-repayment.

  3. Negotiate repayment plans with clients willing to pay.

  4. Request transfer of delinquent accounts to auctioneers for sale of secured and unsecured assets when repayment deadlines have expired.

  5. Ensure auctioneers understand the security and attend all steps of the selling process.

  6. Escalate accounts with potential fraud indicators to the supervisor for review.

  7. Keep accurate records of collections, repayment agreements, and outcomes of debtor visits.

  8. Review all at-risk accounts in the portfolio and conduct regular follow-ups to encourage repayment.

  9. Update the Recovery system daily with all actions and progress on accounts.

  10. Maintain records of deceased customers’ accounts and coordinate with the team leader to lodge insurance claims with Bancassurance, tracking payments until completed.

  11. Perform any other official duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor or line manager.

Qualifications, skills, and experience

Education and experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Banking, Economics, Commerce, Business Administration, Accountancy, Finance, Risk Management, Actuarial Sciences, Insurance, or equivalent from a recognized institution.

  • Minimum of four (4) years’ experience in credit operations and portfolio monitoring.

  • Strong background in credit appraisal and management.

Required knowledge and competencies:

  • Credit appraisal and monitoring.

  • Debt restructuring and workout processes.

  • Collection and recovery management.

  • Effective writing and presentation skills in English and Swahili.

  • Excellent interpersonal and networking skills.

Position objective

Key responsibilities

1. Training strategy and planning

  • Develop and implement the Bank’s Training and Development strategy in line with the corporate strategy.

  • Conduct training needs assessments (TNA) across directorates to identify skills and competency gaps.

  • Prepare annual training plans and budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness and return on investment.

2. Learning and development implementation

  • Design, coordinate, and monitor training programs (internal and external).
