The Minister of State, President's Office, Public Service Management and Good Governance, Hon. Ridhiwani Kikwete has called on the Management of the President's Office, Public Service Employment Secretariat, to expedite and clarify the process of 12,000 jobs announced by the President of the United Republic of Tanzania Hon. Dr. Samia Suluhu Hassan when she officially opened the 13th Parliament of the United Republic of Tanzania on November 14, 2025 in Dodoma.

Kikwete said this today on 24.11.2025, which is his first visit to the institution since he was sworn in by the President of the United Republic of Tanzania, Hon. Dr. Samia Suluhu Hassan on 18 November, 2025 as Minister of State, President's Office, Public Service Management and Good Governance.
He said one of the promises of President Hon. Dr. Samia Suluhu Hassan is to ensure that the Public Service is better in carrying out its responsibilities of providing quality services to the citizens and added that to ensure this is implemented, he promised to issue 12,000 employment permits for the Education Cadre, 7,000 employees, and the Health Cadre, 5,000 employees.
"The employment permit has been issued, I thank you for starting work, it is a good thing, it is my hope that the responses to the instructions of the Hon. President will be seen soon, ensure that you manage it thoroughly, the entire process of these jobs should be made transparent to eliminate the misconception that there is bias in providing jobs." Hon. Kikwete has emphasized.
He has called on the Management to speed up the coordination of the recruitment process. "Let's look at the challenges that are hindering the acceleration of the recruitment process so that we can resolve them and continue and complete them on time," he added.
