1. PURPOSE OF JOB:

Reporting to Head Products and Revenue Assurance, the Manager MI & Analytics plays a crucial role in Business Performance and Planning. Incumbent has the responsibility of providing daily accurate information on business direction through planning
and driving MI processes interpretation of business performance data both financial and non-financial to Retail Team.

2. PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Driving Business Direction – Analytics, data mining MI and performance related analysis.

• Supports in developing the retail banking strategy through provision of insightful strategic analysis on financial performance trends, sales productivity analysis, co-ordination of periodic commentaries from function/division heads, economic analysis and such other relevant macro trend analysis.
• Identify business opportunities and ensure customer satisfaction.

• Coordinates compilation for the retail segment financial plans/budgets (RAF/STP and MTP) including analytical support of the budget drivers and processes of the plans for the specific Consumer businesses in connection with the budget owners.
• Challenges retail functional budgets to smaller unit levels thereby ensuring that they are realistic and stretching and makes recommendations on functional targets to the Division heads/Director.
• Manages the retail banking segment budgets and financial performance including Income, Cost and Balance Sheet streams highlighting material variances and reporting regularly to the Retail Director, with recommendations for timely strategic actions.
• Performs segmented Analysis on functions portfolios in connection with senior analysts, finance and product teams and provides recommendation report on potential business cost/income alignments and/or expansion areas within existing Consumer business portfolios thereby influencing strategic plans.
• Analyze monthly PMS/OSAB (Outstanding, Satisfactory, Average and Below average) and Vintage analysis of Sales Officers

Performance and payments.

• To provide accurate and timely analysis of the Retail business performance, aimed at identifying root causes of variances to budgets and forecasts.
• Maintain a clear and objective view of business performance through accurate monthly flash/ forecast, (Dashboards)

• Analyse monthly P&L reports from finance to identify any anomality’s and income leakages.

• Analyse, provide feedback and update on different sales campaigns.

Business Management & MI Development

• Prepare and circulate all in country Retail daily MIS with appropriate commentaries to all stake holders

• Collate and analyse Retail performance Monthly data with appropriate commentary and recommendations to drive exceptional business performance.
• Supports the functional and segment managers on designing and managing business processes that minimizes income leakages and assist in reviewing business processes to achieve efficiency and cost effectiveness.
• Manages and co-ordinates the income collection and cost reduction rigour processes including monitoring of actioning Interest

Reports and general pricing monitoring of Consumer products.

3. KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

• High degree of knowledge and familiarity with statistical techniques and analytical tools.

• Intimate knowledge and familiarity with Consumer banking business, products, customers, bb/sheet and P & L.

• Experienced and knowledgeable on banking technology and businesses (particularly those supporting BI/DW/MI) and able to quickly assess impact of challenges, change requests etc. to cost and service.
• Excellent Analytical and problem solving skills with strong experience of gathering business requirements and facilitating

Joint Application Delivery (JAD) session.( Level: Do and check)
• Proactive self-starter; adept at self-management, able to learn new skills and gain technical experience where skill and knowledge gaps have been identified

4. QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

• University degree in Actuarial Science, Business Administration, Statistics or Economics and relevant professional qualifications in banking, finance, or marketing.
• Minimum of 5 years relevant working experience in a similar position

• Computer literacy and knowledge of new evolving technology systems

RESPONSIBLE FOR: Sales and Marketing of Health and Life Insurance Products

DEPARTMENT: Retail Banking

1. PURPOSE OF JOB:

Responsible to grow and manage Bancassurance portfolio and to identified business opportunities for all lines of business; to provide leadership and direction to the business development team including business retention thus achieving the delivery of
the Business Budget as well as ensuring sustainable and profitable business operations.

2. PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Handle Corporate (CIB) and Retail portfolio with the new and renewal target.
• Maintaining, Generating and managing existing and new businesses by contacting potential clients to establish rapport and arrange meetings.
• Negotiating Insurance terms with Insurers and coordinating the re-insurance arrangements by developing quotes and pro posals for clients.
• Designing and developing Health and Life Insurance products in collaboration with insurance partners to be sold in the insurance market.
• Serving Clients Health and Life Insurance needs including negotiation, placement of covers and after sales services.
• Enhancing a health relationship between Bancassurance and Exim Bank Relationship Managers and Branch managers in execution of insurance business.
• Validate all proposals/inquiries/quotations received directly or through the selling outlets for compliance.
• Prepare various analytical business reports and advising the Head Bancassurance on the way forward. Prepare and submit weekly, monthly & quarterly reports.
• Develop sales strategic initiatives for Health and Life products and execution.
• Underwriting and claim procedures on Health and Life insurance products.
• Supervise all the insurance specific personnel in all the branches and assist them in selling Health and Life insurance products and services.
• Conducting business reviews to ensure clients are satisfied with their products and services. Initiate, develop and maintain quality long term business relationships with clients to ensure high renewal of business based on the service plan.
• Receive, record, resolve & respond to clients’ issues/queries to their satisfaction and within the stipulated period.
• Manage relationships with customers, branch, and other stakeholders.
• Co-ordinate training on general insurance products.

• Manage all risks related to general insurance products.
• Prepare and deliver renewal reminders before expiry of scheme.

• Regular client service visits, sta benefits presentations, face time with clients and members, health talks, member education drives and sta presentations.

3. SKILLS:

• At least 5 years’ work experience in in the Insurance Industry with a key focus on Health and Life Insurance Products.

• Excellent knowledge of Health and Life insurance products and processes, regulatory requirements as well as ability to drive business performance and revenues
• Good interpersonal and management skills

• Good understanding of customer segmentation and needs as well as an in-depth knowledge of distribution channel strategies

• Demonstrated capacity to lead, coach and supervise team members effectively

• Visible excellent communication (written and verbal) and negotiation skills

4. QUALIFICATIONS:

• Professional certificates (Bachelor ‘s degree or its equivalent in insurance, bank, risk management, law, actuarial science, finance, Business Administration or related field from recognized institution).
• Professional certificates (Minimum certificate in insurance/CoP).

• Sworn Declaration of good character and solvency.

• Attested declaration on solvency and non- conviction in criminal offences.

• ACII will be added advantage.

1. PURPOSE OF JOB:

The purpose of this role is to build the Business, Deepen Relationships and Managing Key and Potential Customers from sales of Liabilities, Acquisitions, Cash Management, Credit Card, and Retail Products to maximize revenue by achieving sales targets.

2. PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Building relationship with a portfolio of customers assigned to become a first point of contact for their banking needs
• Growth of CASAFD and ASSET of the existing client portfolio as per the target given, and Acquisitions of new CASA FD and ASSET customers as per given budget
• To meet the fee income goal through the existing client’s portfolio
• To provide a personalized and committed banking services to the customers in the portfolio, such as reviews on customers’ ac counts and giving each customer the opportunity to make informed choices on their everyday banking
• Identification of cross-selling opportunities in the customer portfolio assigned
• Developing and maintaining a sales/queries management data base which can be used for review purposes, analysis of branch performance and reflection for improvement
• Working with branch managers to anticipate key issues, identifying useful opportunities and offering professional expertise/so lutions to all stake holders
• Use referral from existing clients in the portfolio to open new client accounts.
• Have a good understanding of all products/services offered by EXIM to be able to serve the client better
• Prepare Position reports to the Branch Manager

INTERACTION WITH OTHERS

• Internal: Regular contact with Head-Retail, Cluster heads, Branch managers and others
• External: Regular Interaction with customers and clients

3. QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

• University degree in Business Administration or Economics and relevant professional qualifications in banking, finance, or marketing.
• Minimum of two years relevant working experience in a similar position

• Computer literacy and knowledge of new evolving technology systems

4. COMPETENCY REQUIRED:

• Ability to assess customer needs and develop products that suits their needs.

• High energy level and aggressive

• Self-motivated, fast learning with a proven ability to work independently under pressure and high efficiency.

• Experience in structured trade finance, syndication and project financing will be an added advantage.

1. PURPOSE OF JOB:

To meet branch Retail and SME Financial Targets through a World class Sales and Service Management system and within established product programs through the branch.

To work closely with Central Operations Unit to operate and maintain a smooth running and operationally efficient branch, that conform to the financial institutions and BOT regulations, rules and guidelines issued from time to time. This will include servicing corporate customers.

2. PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
