We are currently looking for: a dedicated, experienced, qualified, and motivated personto join and further develop our Farm administrative team and activities in a long-term perspective.

Role:

Being, responsible for the smooth and efficient running of our coffee farm operations through performing administrative and clerical duties, as well as providing reliable support for Managers, staff, and office visitors.

Tasks and responsibilities:

In this role you will report to the Farm Manager and your responsibilities will comprise:

·         Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of coffee farm operations, including inventory, production, and sales data.

·         Help in coordinating the harvest and processing of coffee beans.

·         Perform general administrative duties such as answering phone calls, responding to emails, and organizing paperwork.

·         Supporting HR department with management of farm staff.

A candidate envisaged for this role will have the following skills:

·         General knowledge and experience in administration and excellent communication skills.

·         Analytical management skills with accurate attention to detail, yet hands-on approach.

·         Effective problem-solving skills

·         Secretarial management skills

·         Physical endurance and the ability to stand for long periods of time

·         Time management skills

·         Flexibility: Willingness to adapt to changing farm needs and work outside regular business hours when required.

Preferred:

·         Excellent spoken and written English

·         Experience in developing and/or successfully carrying out certification schemes.

·         An ability to work well as part of a team or when working alone.

·         Strong leadership, sound judgment, and strong organizational skills.

Experience:

A candidate envisaged for this role will have:

·          Education: Certificate, Diploma, or degree in Agronomy, Administration, Secretary or relevant field 

·          Work Experience: 4 – 6 years of experience in Administrative, secretarial, data entry jobs.

·          Fluent in English, preferably in Swahili

·          Proficient in the use of MS Office

Tasks and responsibilities:

In this role you will report to the Head of Human Resources and your responsibilities will comprise:

·         Ensure adherence to Company and Human Resources policies and procedures,

·         Monitor and review the system of performance appraisal,

·         Maintain staff records,

·         Prepare and maintain proper records of transfer, promotions

·         Manage training needs accordingly.

·         Handle disciplinary procedures,

·         Address labour-related issues,

·         Monitor daily attendance, leave roster and medical leave, and provide monthly management reports.

·         Facilitates the preparation of the sectional budget

Skills:

A candidate envisaged for this role will have the following skills:

Experience:

A candidate envisaged for this role will have:

·          Holder of bachelor’s degree in human resources management/Public administration or related field or equivalent qualification.

·          Work Experience: 2 – 4 years of experience in Human Resources.

·          Fluent in English, preferably in Swahili

·          Has knowledge of computer usage.
