THE ROLE

  • Implementation of proactive market plans and business development programs that will optimize generation of assets and liabilities from the identified niche market.
  • Managing the operations and support activities at the branch; including guiding, supporting, motivating and supervising staff to ensure effectiveness and efficiency in all areas of branch operations.
  • Providing the necessary coordination and support that ensures execution of the flawless operations and service promise.
  • Ensure that checks and controls are done on a regular basis to minimize operational lapses likely to compromise bank’s business.
  • Marketing the bank’s products and services, by enhancing existing/new customer base and expanding the bank’s business growth.
  • Maintain good customer relations and ensure that customer needs are met within the strategic objectives of the bank.
  • Complying with all statutory and regulatory requirements, including Audit compliance.
  • Assessing manpower requirements in the form of well-structured operations and manning levels in the branch.

THE CANDIDATE

  • University graduate preferably in Banking/Business/Management;
  • Professional qualification e.g. Institute of Bankers accreditation would be desirable;
  • Branch management experience (at least 3 years’ working as Manager at an upcountry branch);

The bank is looking for a high caliber sales professionals with proven experience in selling Personal Banking products in Commercial Banks.
The position is responsible for growing and managing Personal Banking assets and liabilities through acquisition of qualified customers and management of risk.

THE ROLE

  • Drive growth in deposit liabilities by capturing sizeable share of the market.
  • Development of new business and growing the customer base through a culture of service based sales of appropriate products.
  • Coordinate, guide and monitor the sales activities of the branch in order to achieve business goals.
  • Design and implement proactive sales plan by developing and managing of new and existing business of the bank that will optimize the banks customer needs.
  • Manage sales and services to enhance efficiency and effectiveness of the branch channels.
  • Proactive follow up of leads to close a sale.
  • Responsible for the interface and support between the bank and the client or prospective clients.
  • Sourcing for deposits, current, savings accounts and other products of the bank.
  • Perform all sales related activities for existing and potential customers to achieve the assigned financial targets.
  • Promote Bank products by providing consistent, accurate and transparent information to customers.

THE CANDIDATE

  • A Bachelor of Business Administration with a bias in Banking, Marketing or Finance.
  • A minimum of 1 year of banking experience.
  • Thorough business understanding and knowledge of the market segment.
  • Strong relationship management skills.
