Minister Ummy: Recruitment of 6000 teachers yet finalized formalities will be announced

Minister of State Office of the President Regional Administration and Local Government Hon. Ummy Mwalimu has said 6000 teacher jobs will be advertised no job will be offered contrary to the procedure.
Minister Ummy said this today while inspecting the construction of classrooms at Zingibari Secondary School located in Mkinga District Council, Tanga Region.

Minister Ummy said there are scams popping up in the streets saying that 6000 vacancies will not be advertised so they should be sent money so that they can allocate centers for teachers who are in need and the job, that is a scam The government does not charge money for employment
He urged teachers who intend to apply for the positions to be patient until they are announced and the Government will do justice to all those who have applied for the vacancies in accordance with the rules, regulations and guidelines of the public service.

In addition, Minister Ummy said that the Permanent Secretary of the Office of the President Regional Administration and Local Government Prof. Riziki Shemdoe has begun investigating whether the scammers are employees of the Office of the President-PMO-RALG or street people who are demanding money from people with the promise of employment and if it is found that strict action will be taken against an employee who commits acts of fraud.
