Students Admission Teachers Colleges Will Be Online. The Ministry of Education, Science and Technology has developed a Data Enrollment and Management System that will enable Form IV and VI graduates to apply for online teacher training.The system will also facilitate communication between the Ministry and the colleges, obtain accurate and timely information as well as facilitate the collection and maintenance of data in Teachers Colleges.
In addition, in enabling the system to be used effectively, the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology through the Teacher Development Project (TESP) has provided training on the use of the system to the Heads of Government and Private Teachers Colleges to build their capacity to use the system.
In order to effectively implement the system, the Ministry has put in place a strong strategy to ensure that all Government Teachers Colleges are connected to the National Backbone to have a reliable network.
Training on the Use of Admission and Statistics System for Principals of Teachers Colleges is being held for two days in Dar es Salaam from August 19 to 20, 2020.
