Brief Description
Performing quality reviews on business requirements through standardized testing methods and strategies, leading execution of functional and non-functional tests and implementing quality testing and reporting processes while ensuring strict adherence to KCB Group’s software quality assurance framework.
Detailed Description
a) Champion and coordinate business requirements reviews across functional teams and ensures that the business requirements are complete, precise and testable.
b) Works with project team to define and create overall project test strategy/test plan, plan test schedules or strategies and Identifies test resources, estimates test effort in accordance with project scope or delivery dates and ensures that the test strategy is adopted.
c) Develop, document and maintain functional and non-functional test cases, test scripts and all other test artifacts including test data, data validation criteria and scripts, harness scripts and automated scripts.
d) Works collaboratively with the business units and project teams to execute and validate test cases based upon business requirements and ensures that the test cases are traceable to the requirements.
e) In collaboration with GEA and other critical stakeholders, tune the SQA processes, adopt tools and define re-usable templates in-line with the adoption and maturity of the SQA Framework.
f) Define test process including required test activities and deliverables, conduct Test Readiness Assessment, establish test environments and ensure that test environments are available for all planned white box and black box testing activities.
g) Engages, champions and collaborates with technical teams / personnel in non-functional testing including integration, regression, load / performance, security and usability testing.
h) Prepare, share and review test results periodically, report any defects, bugs, errors, configuration issues, and interoperability flaws and develop test acceptance reports for projects and software changes.
i) Works with business units to perform post deployment sanity and regression tests and post-implementation review within defined period to confirm that the deployed solution works as per the business requirements.
j) Identify, log and track for closure of any deviations from the approved quality assurance standards and processes.
k) Testing of fixes and changes prior to promotion of Data Libraries to T24 Live Production.
Job Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or a related field of study
Project Management, ITIL.

- Responsible for 1st level support of T24, NOBS, Clearing (MIPPS), Internet Banking, Active Directory Users and Mobee application system and responsible for managing day to day incidents and user’s support.
Detailed Description
· Investigating, diagnosing and resolving T24 and other system incidents assigned within the agreed timelines in the Service Level Agreement.
· Supporting and troubleshooting cheque processing in Channel manager, Sybrin and ITSM system.
· Responsible for Issue tracking, resolving and closing NOBS, Mobi, IB, Sybrin, ATM and Credit Cards on Channel Manager Interface.
· Escalating more complicated and technical problems to the 2nd level support within the IT departments.
· Ensures that daily status reports are compiled and continually modified to meet the needs of the business as well as reporting to senior managers on any issue that could significantly impact the business.
· Assisting in the compilation of the Client Support technical documentation, Service Catalogue, guidelines and procedures and ensure they are disseminated to users.
· Communicating list of T24 System changes and Impact to Client Support Manager.
· Producing and maintaining appropriate documentation to the defined ICT team standards, ensuring that new procedures are documented in an efficient and timely manner and that suitable version control is employed.
· Testing of fixes and changes prior to promotion of Data Libraries to T24 Live Production.
· Creating awareness among users and support staff on utilization of the core banking systems (T24).
Job Requirements
The candidate should have Bachelor Degree in IT or Equivalent and Experience in Core Banking system preferably T24

Ensure high performance, high availability, integrity and security of database systems within the KCB group entities.
Detailed Description
a) Responsible for managing and supporting high performance, highly available and mission critical database platforms, Core Banking Systems (T24).Responsible for overseeing of managing and supporting other databases in the Bank. Ensure databases are secured and replication is done between primary and secondary sites.
b) Perform database performance analysis, tuning, capacity planning, system sizing and ongoing maintenance to ensure maximum performance.
c) Implement database backup and recovery strategies that meet KCBT’s recovery and availability requirements
d) Oversee Install, configure and maintain database instances and design database structures to support business requirements.
e) Implement recommended database security policies that are consistent with KCBT’s, and KCB Group, security guidelines.
f) Remediate, and close, identified Risk, and Audit issues.
g) Setup and document database related processes and procedures for Business Continuity.
h) Recommend best practices and ensure they are implemented and incorporated into DBA procedures.
i) Performing database design review(s) to enforce best practices and standards. Implementing and maintain T24 development environments.j) Ensuring security, performance monitoring and tuning, capacity planning, and backup and recovery are performed
