GRADUATE TRAINEE HSSE

  • Employer: Taifa Gas

  • Location: Dar es Salaam

  • Notes or Duties:

    • Degree in Engineering/Environmental/Health & Safety or equivalent.

    • Proven 1 to 2 years’ experience in HSSEQ management preferably in the Oil and Gas industry.

    • Reasonable knowledge and experience in risk and crisis management frameworks as well as incident/accident investigation and reporting.

    • Exposure or knowledge of codes and standards for Oil and Gas operations, especially Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG).

    • Possession of NOSHC 1 and NOSHC 2 certifications, NEBOSH Diploma, or equivalent qualifications supporting HSE management.

    • Experience and knowledge of ISO standards 14001 and 18001.

    • Must possess multi-skills background such as operations, sales, and technical, with demonstrable interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral.

    • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight schedules.

    • Willingness to travel to remote areas.

    • Certification in any of the HSSEQ standards (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 18001) is an added advantage.

    • Educational Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. Additional certifications in heavy vehicle operation or logistics are an added advantage.

    • Driving Experience: Experience driving heavy-duty vehicles, preferably tankers, with a clean driving record and no major violations or accidents in recent years.

    • Physical Fitness: Ability to pass a medical physical examination and perform physically demanding tasks including lifting heavy items and climbing onto vehicles.
