Position: Communications Officer
Location: Dar Es Salaam
Economic and Social Research Foundation (ESRF) is seeking a dynamic Communications Officer to enhance the Foundation’s visibility, outreach, and impact by managing communication strategies that effectively disseminate research outputs, policy dialogues, and capacity-building initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
- Support development and implementation of ESRF’s communications strategy
- Coordinate internal and external communications across the Foundation
- Manage branding, publications, and visibility materials
- Produce newsletters, press releases, and media content
- Strengthen media relations and monitor coverage
- Manage website, social media, and digital platforms
- Create digital content (photo, video, graphics, podcasts)
- Support event management, livestreaming, and documentation
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, PR, Marketing, or related field (Master’s is an advantage)
- Minimum of 5 years’ professional experience
- Strong digital communication and social media skills
- Excellent writing and editing skills in English and Kiswahili
