Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in financial reporting/technical accounting
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- CPA/ACCA (or equivalent) or Master’s degree is an advantage
- 2+ years of experience leading a reporting team is an advantage
- Strong IFRS technical background
- Prior external audit experience (Big 4 preferred)
Core Responsibilities
- Manage the month-end close process, ensure correct FX rate application, coordinate CFO review meetings, enforce COA governance, and align reporting systems post-close
- Ensure quality Group reporting and consolidation, manage intercompany reconciliations, and deliver timely financial reports with analysis
- Provide IFRS guidance on complex transactions and manage COA changes to ensure alignment with group standards and timely communication
- Coordinate external audits to ensure timely, clean signoffs, prepare regulatory financial reports, and resolve Group FRC queries
- Own reporting processes, resolve issues quickly, and drive data quality and automation
- Manage budgets and monitor costs for external audits, consulting, and director fees
- Lead and develop the Financial Reporting team, set objectives, review performance, and build technical capabilities
- Lead preparation of IFRS-compliant annual financial statements for the Company and its subsidiaries
Competencies
- Decision rights and key interfaces
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Proficiency in financial reporting systems (OneStream, SUN Systems) and advanced Excel
- Familiarity with Power BI is a plus
