Responsibilities

  • Add and Remove Users as necessary on Active Directories
  • Adhering to site backup policy and monitoring the site backups on daily basis.

  •  Recover data from backup Server, updating anti-virus, managing backups, imaging, and patching.
  •  Responsible for maintaining all the site server’s performance check, storage management and unwanted users’ data on daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
  • Responsible for maintaining communications systems such as Telecommunications, Two Ways Radio System, E-Mail, and Internet are operating in an effective manner.
  • Responsible for maintaining technical support documentation in accordance with procedures.
  • Responsible for maintaining the highest level of network security.
  • Responsible for maintaining the reliability for the camp internet.
  • Responsible for Servers, Network remains free of viruses and is operating efficiently.
  • Administer all the support calls logged into ServiceNow system and ensures its closed on timely manner.
  • Basic programming of the Radios.
  • Ensures IMT Record Management.
  • Ensures site Asset Inventory file is updated regularly.
  • Ensures the file record for Hardware and stock inventory is up to date.
  •  Facilitate and maintain the backup process with up-to-date record keeping.
  • Follow defined guidelines, processes, and checklists.
  • Follow Incident management as per the ITIL service Delivery framework.
  • Keeping all IMT records updated on Network systems (Network Share drives
  • Maintain technical support documentation in accordance with procedures.
  • Maintain and practice Industry standard housekeeping.
  • Monitor and maintain the backup and restore logs on the network.
  • Perform routine checks as per defined IMT Calendar.
  • Provide 1st level System Administration support to the site operations.

  • Regular Hardware maintenance.
  • Report any irregularity from the define guidelines to the supervisor.

  • Oversees operation of facilities to meet all applicable regulatory requirements and in accordance with design criteria. Develops and implements techniques and methods of process control which increase plant efficiency.
  • Plant evaluation to improve overall plant effectiveness and ensure effective resolution to in-time problems.
  • Ensure that all Environmental and Safety Standards and procedures are maintained according to ISO14001, ISO45001 AND ISO9001 Standards
  • Implements, directs, and enforces plant safety and risk management programs.

Qualification requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemical/Process Engineering or Equivalent
  • Registered Engineer from Engineer Registration Board Tanzania – ERB

Experience and Competencies needed

  • Minimum 5 years relevant experience in Reverse Osmosis, Ultrafiltration, Microfiltration, Ion Exchange and Media Filter Commissioning and Operation Experience.
  • Minimum 5 years relevant experience in monitoring and writing report on plant health (RO, UF, MF and IX) performance.
  • Minimum 5 years post-professional qualification technical design/drawing experience in process circuit.
  • Systems and software skills; Visio, Scada, AutoCAD, Stella Architect and or other Modeling Softwares will be added advantages.
  • Chemistry – Knowledge of the chemical composition, structure, and properties of substances and of the chemical processes and transformations that they undergo. This includes uses of chemicals and their interactions, danger signs, production techniques, and disposal methods.
