The main objective of the company is to undertake production of sugar in Tanzania. Position Title:  Medical Recorder (1 Post)

Reporting to Head of Health facility, Compile, process, and maintain medical records of Health facility and clinic patients In a manner consistent with medical, administrative, ethical, legal, and regulatory requirements of the health care system. Process, maintain, compile, and report patient Information for health requirements and standards.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

Compile and maintain patients’ medical records to document condition and treatment and to provide data for research or cost control and care improvement efforts. Enter data, such as demographic characteristics, history and extent of disease, diagnostic procedures and treatment into computer. Plan, develop, maintain and operate a variety of health record indexes and storage and retrieval systems to collect, classify, store and analyze information.

Qualifications & Experiences and knowledge

At least a holder of Diploma in Medical Records, or Record and Archives management plus completion of a health information curriculum. Familiar in medical records terms and the facts and experience in medical records job. At least two (2) years’ experience In Medical records.


Position Title:  Trucks Drivers (2 Posts)

The Company is looking for an experienced Truck Drivers to serve our supply chain logistics department in a safe and timely manner. He/she will be reporting to Transport/ Logistics Officer.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

Transport finished goods and raw materials over land to and from manufacturing plants or retail and distribution centers; Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and perform preventative maintenance; Plan routes and meet delivery schedules; Document and log work/rest periods and kilometers spent driving and retain fuel/toll receipts; Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking and break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures; Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions; Collect and verify delivery instructions; Report defects, accidents or violations.

Qualifications & Experiences and knowledge

Certificate of Truck Driving course from accredited training Institution preferably the National Institute of Transportation (NIT); relevant and valid driving licence; more than three (3) years proven work experience as a Truck Driver; Hands on experience with electronic equipment and software like application of GPS etc.


Position Title: Pharmaceutical Assistant (1 Post)

Reporting to the Head of Health facility, the candidate will ensure effective and timely pharmacy services to all in and out patients and will administer sterile medications under aseptic conditions.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

To process prescription as recommended by Doctors, Order drugs from main store, dispense drugs and other pharmaceutical products to the ward and Outpatient department and prepare daily/weekly and monthly report on drugs dispensed to his immediate supervisor.

Qualifications & Experiences and knowledge

Certificate in Pharmaceutical Sciences from recognized Institutions, Certificate of enlistment from Tanzania Pharmacy Council of Tanzania, maintain licensure in good standing as a Registered Pharmaceutical Assistant In the United Republic of Tanzania, Minimum of three (3) years’ relevant experience, Knowledge and Understanding of drugs regulations.


Position Title:  Enrolled/Registered Nurse (2 Posts) 

Reporting to Assistant Nurse Officer; Enrolled nurse will be responsible for providing safe and individualized nursing care to patients with basic care needs specific to assigned unit and in an accordance with policies and procedures and quality improvement and patient safety norms.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

Conducts assessment and reassessment of each assigned patient at time of admission, at shift change, after critical procedure and upon change in critical condition as per timelines defined in the policy. Elements of assessment include presented complains and related details, systemic review, pain assessment, wound assessment, feto-maternal assessment the need of health/discharge education, nursing documentation on unit specific forms as per standard.

Qualifications, Experiences and knowledge

Diploma/Certificate In Nursing from recognized institution; Current registration with the Tanzania Nurses and Midwives Nursing Council, Certification of following module during NES orientation, Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), Basic skills review, Safe Medication Administration, Infection control module. Atleast three years working experience


Position Title:  Irrigation Technician (1 Post)

This person will assist Irrigation Supervisor in installation, repair and maintenance of irrigation systems and equipment in the estate.

Key Roles & Responsibilities:

Install, test, and maintain irrigation equipment including sprinklers, pumps, water lines, and suction valves; Inspecting and loading equipment for the day’s work; Mapping out areas for irrigation installation; Digging trenches and installing pipes and lines; Installing pumps and electrical timers; Testing the irrigation system with the aid of computer software; Conducting routine maintenance checks; Troubleshooting and replacing faulty parts; Completing progress reports and associated paperwork; Ensuring availability of irrigation spare parts based on repair history; and any other duty as she/he may be assigned by his/her senior.

Qualification, Experience and Knowledge

Holder of a diploma Irrigation/Water resource Engineering or Equivalent; Proficiency in Microsoft outlook, word and excel; Excellent written and verbal communication; Attention to details; One year experience on similar role will be an added advantage; and Valid driving licence as he/she will be needed to ride a motorcycle to various field locations.


Position Title:  Administrative Officer (1 Post)

The Administrative Officer will be reporting to the Human Resources Manager

Key Roles & Responsibilities

Supervise and manage office clerical staff and other office workers, e.g Receptionists, Telephone operators, Registry Assistants and Office Attendants; Supervise arrangement of office accommodation, residential accommodation, transport, office equipment and stationery and maintenance of office machines and their repairs; Making travel arrangements for officers on duty; Ensuring that the offices and general company’s premises are well maintained and kept clean, Ensuring that the company offices are adequately being secured; Managing company’s Assets; Preparing monthly report; Advising on the purchase of office supplies and equipment; verifying and initiating invoices and claims for payment; and carrying out any other lawful work related duties as assigned by supervisors.

Qualifications, Experience and knowledge:

Holder of a University degree or Advanced Diploma in Public Administration, Industrial Relations, Human Resources Management, Sociology and Business Administration; He/she must be Computer literate and must have work experience of five (5) years or more in similar position.

Position Title:  ASSISTANT WORKSHOP SUPERVISOR (1 POST)

The person will be responsible to ensure the management of the maintenance activities for all equipment at the company. The person will be reporting to the Project Manager.

Key Roles & Responsibilities:

Supervise the equipment on-site by ensuring continuous service through routine/ non-routine maintenance and/or repair; Maintenance and/or repairs of all Agricultural machines and other company vehicles; Supervise and co-ordinate the workshop subordinate in order to ensure that work is carried out in compliance with quality; Ensure compliance with safety procedures; Prepare and manage the Workshop maintenance budget; Implement asset maintenance procedures and identify the best maintenance strategies to improve equipment reliability and boost asset uptime and availability; Plan and Stock the required quantity of spare parts in order to guarantee continuity of work and planning; Monitor the use and inventories of spare parts, maintenance supplies, equipment and initiates recording when necessary; Ensure that maintenance technicians are adequately trained, equipped and motivated so that the maintenance program can be accomplished timely and in a cost-effective manner; Manage/coordinate and evaluate maintenance personnel’s performance assigned; and Perform any other duties as may be assigned by supervisors.

Position Title:  FACTORY LOGISTIC OFFICER (1 POST)

Office assistants handle organizational and clerical support tasks. This may include organizing files, scheduling appointments, writing copy, proof reading, receiving guests and other logistical support depending on the company and its needs.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

Carrying out clerical works including typing, proofreading and editing documents, correspondences and reports for factory: prepare paper works for factory meetings; Coordinate loads, journeys and organize shipment; Liaising with managing staff and shifts; Planning for and negotiating technical difficulties; Analyze Data to asses performance and advise plan for improvement; Monitor stocks and waste management; and Ensure health and safety standards are adhered to.

Qualifications, Experience and knowledge:

Holder of a Diploma or Certificate in Secretarial or logistics from a recognized Institution; Ability to write clearly and have supervisory skills; Able to use CAP and CAD; Have three (3) years above working in similar position; A person with attention to details; Ability to work well in a team and motivate others; Logical reasoning and problem solving skills; and Skills in Data analysis including working with Electronic Data. Working experience in Sugar Industries will be an added advantage.

 


Position Title:  Health Attendant (1 Posts) 

Overall responsible for basic patient care activities including hygiene care, intake & output, vital signs etc and assist medical/nursing staff for any other patient related task.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

Measure vital signs of assign patients as per physician order, and record the same In the patient file as per the standard procedure. Report any abnormality seen in patient’s vital signs, blood glucose level, oral Intake or urinary output in order to facilitate timely attention. Escort transport patient safely for unit procedure and bring back to assign unit; Assist jointly with other nursing staff in transfer of patient’s from/to bed, chair, wheelchair and stretcher (trolley); Collect and labels patient specimen- stool, urine, sputum, where indicated as per standard laid down procedure, and deliver at counter to be forwarded for necessary Investigation.

Qualifications & Experiences and knowledge

Certificate of Secondary Education, one year training Certificate In Nursing Assistant or certificate in community Health from recognized Institution. One-year nurse auxiliary course recognized by Ministry of Health and should have at least two years working experience in similar position.


Position Title:  Laboratory Technologist (1 Post) 

Reporting to the Head of Clinic Services, Lab technologist will assist in facilitating the delivery of laboratory services in an efficient and effective manner. Manage Core Lab area (Hematology, Chemistry, Parasitology, Serology, Microbiology, Histology, Cytology and Phlebotomy) including staff planning and evaluation, supervises the technical and administrative staff to ensure day to day running of the Laboratory activities.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

Manages core lab areas (Hematology. Chemistry, Microbiology, Histology, Cytology and Phlebotomy) by providing leadership to the team to provide quality lab services in an efficient manner, Responsible for staffing, maintaining reagent stocks, in- house control of reagents and consumables. Oversees and performs preventive maintenance and troubleshooting on the laboratory instruments.

Qualifications, Experiences and knowledge

Minimum Diploma or Certificate/Training in Quality Systems Minimum four (4) years’ experience in hospital laboratory management and one (1) year experience in supervisory roles, Be familiar and experienced with the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS), in terms of application and utilization.

Position Title:  Assistant Laboratory Technologist (1 Post)


Reporting to the Lab technologist, the Lab assistant will be responsible for shift coverage (operational and technical) functions of their allocated sections.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

Delivery of laboratory services in efficient and effective manner while positively impacting the facility in the journey towards accreditation and thereafter, maintaining accreditation status. He/she will perform basic Laboratory investigations, keeps investigations and procedures report and give the results back to respective patients for doctor’s Interpretation.

Qualifications, Experiences and knowledge

Minimum of Certificate In Medical Laboratory, Certificate/Training in Quality Systems, Minimum two (2) years’ experience in hospital/Dispensary lab management be familiar and experienced with the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS), in terms of application and utilization.


Position Title: Cultivation Supervisor (1 POST).

The person will assist the Cultivation Manager in Land preparation, Ratoon mechanical Operation and estate road works across the estate. He will report to Cultivation Manager.

Key Roles & Responsibilities:

Planning activities of machinery and equipment (Heavy tractors. Excavators, Bulldozers, Graders, Compactors, Tipper Lorries etc.); Supervises activities of machinery and equipment (Heavy tractors, Excavators, Bulldozers, Graders, Compactors, Tipper Lorries etc.); Supervises cultivation activities such as Land preparation (Ploughing, levelling, ripping, harrowing, furrowing etc..), Ratoon mechanical operations and Estate road works; Monitoring and control of performance of machineries and Human resources in the section; Ensures that tractor log sheets and all other control sheets are properly filled by machine operators and update in the database; Manage machines fuel consumption and report for abnormality; Ensures Maintenance of Machines such as regular blowing, cleaning are properly followed and documented; Preparation of section budget and follow up on management accounts; Ensure safety at workplace are adhered; and Perform any other lawful duties as may be assigned by his senior.

Qualification, Experience and Knowledge

Holder of Bsc. Agricultural Engineering from recognised institution; More than 3years experience sugarcane cultivation activities; Must be proficiency with computer especially MS word, Excel and outlook; Excellent mentoring skills, interpersonal skills, leadership and initiative Skills; Ability to work with minimum supervision; and Must have a valid driving licence as he/she will have to ride a motorbike around the field.


Position Title:  Motor Vehicle Technicians (2 Posts) 

This person will be responsible for maintenance, diagnostics and repair on Motor vehicles such as Lorries, Pickups, etc.The person will be reporting to Workshop Supervisor.

Key Roles & Responsibilities:

Keep equipment or tools used for inspecting, maintaining and testing vehicles; Conduct preventive maintenance such as Engine tune -ups, Oil, tire rotation and changes, wheel balancing and replacing filters; Maintain vehicles function condition by listening to operator complaints, conducting inspections, repairing engine failures replacing parts and components; Verifies vehicle service ability by conducting test drives, adjusting control and systems; Complies with state vehicles requirement by testing engine safety and combustion control standards; Maintain vehicles appearance by cleaning and washing; Maintain vehicles records by recording service and repair; Keep shop equipment operating by following operating instructions troubleshooting breakdown maintaining supplies, performing preventive maintenance and calling for service; and to carry out any other lawful work related duties as assigned by supervisors.

Qualification, Experience and Knowledge

Must have a Level III certificate in motor vehicle mechanics from a recognized institution; must have working experience of not less than three (3) years in a reputable organization; and Candidates with a Diploma in Automobile Engineering or relevant qualifications will be preferred.


Position Title:  ELECTRICAL ENGINEER (1 POST) 

Electrical engineer design, develop, and test electrical devices and equipment, including communications systems, power generators, motors and navigation systems, and electrical systems for automobiles.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

Designing electrical systems or their components; Diagnosing and solving electrical problems with products or systems; Installing, servicing, calibrating and updating electrical systems; Repairing or replacing faulty electrical parts of a product; Developing and testing electrical system prototypes or simulated events and making modifications if required; Contributing to the compilation of user instructions; Conducting inspections to ensure that products or systems are in a safe and usable condition; and Perform any other lawful duties assigned by Supervisors.

Qualifications, Experience and knowledge:

Bachelor of Science degree/ Diploma in Electrical Engineering or Electronics; Experience in Budgeting; Ability to use C.A.D; should have attended training on Technical Operations Procedures (TOP’S) and Manpower Development Program (MDP); ISO awareness is also important; Have more than three years’ experience working as full time electrical Engineer.
