Job Description
Managing the administration of the Human Resources policies and procedures and also carry out recruitment, discipline, grievance handling, performance management, reward and career development programs.
Perform administration related activities such as Employees welfare and other related logistics matters.
Ensure staff regulations and other human resources policies are effectively complied in the organization.
Advises Employers on Labour laws and related legislation.

Representing the Company to various HR related meetings, hearings etc
To ensure all employment contracts are prepared based on standard contract template.
Dealing with grievances and implementing disciplinary procedures.
Ensures that all staff personnel files are updated.
Acts as companies Advocate in all legal matters (routine and as they arise).
Performing other duties assigned by the management from time to time.
Qualifications & Requirements
Proven relevant experience of not less than ten (10) years, five (5) of which must be at managerial level.
PC literacy and hands on experience with an HRIS or HRMS.
Extensive knowledge of labour law.
Excellent organizational skills.
BS degree in Legal or Human Resources or related fields.
Age limit of 45yrs and above.

KIWOCE works to empower, educate, and promote social economic development for youth and local community members and others who seek advancement. The Center does this by providing children and young adults in the community, who could not access formal education, a place to develop their knowledge and skills to be capable of employment and/or further education.

The KIWOCE Open School is registered by the Institute of Adult Education (IAE) and provides Secondary Education in the informal sector (a.k.a. the QT system), Computer & English Short courses, Pre-Form One, Pre-Form Five and other short courses. The school has also established several clubs for its students and offers community seminars on a variety of topics, including agricultural best practices. As of 2020 the Center also is a registered Testing Center.
The KIWOCE Open School utilizes technology in teaching and is a home of innovative and motivated teachers who use active learning strategies to address students at all levels. Many of KIWOCE’s students have deficient prior education. English is the medium of communication. The Center also includes a newly finished hostel facilities for girls and a separate small hostel for boys.
SUMMARY OF POSITION
KIWOCE is looking for a KIWOCE Site Manager who will:
  • Work with all staff (teaching and support) to ensure all operational and academic aspects of the Center are managed to run smoothly
  • Establish and implement policies, procedures, systems that promote coordination and clear communication of tasks among all staff
  • Consult with the Center’s Founder/Executive Director on important policy, planning and management issues
  • Take the lead in problem-solving operational matters that arise on a daily basis
  • Ensure that financial staff activities and procedures are in compliance with the Center’s commitment to honest and transparent reporting
  • Review and approve spending requests from petty cash and all aspects of the financial policy
  • Oversee Center’s reporting to auditors and tax authorities
  • Ensure that the teaching and learning occurring in classrooms meets student-centered educational standards and conduct regular staff meetings to problem solve issues that may be causing roadblocks to meeting this goal.
  • Implement a positive working environment for staff and learning environment for students.
  • Work with the Executive Director on staff recruitment as needed.
  • Prepare quarterly reports for government entities and for the Executive Director to share with Board of Directors and donors
  • Respond in a timely manner to communication and requests from donors.
  • Work with the Center’s Development Manager on potential partnerships with other schools, NGOs or other organizations
  • Serve as a role model of professional behavior to all Center staff and students
Required qualifications:
5+ years in organizational, business administration and/or human resource management
A Degree in Human Resource or other management field from a recognized University.
Strong leadership skills and team-building skills and experience in managing others
Fluency in English
Desire to support teacher and staff performance and student achievement
Computer skills and an understanding of the use of learning purposes
Preferred qualifications:
An understanding of the workings and requirements of the Tanzanian educational system
Experience and enthusiasm in working with youth from backgrounds of limited resources
Either international experience or exposure to international organization perspectives and expectations

Broad Function
Develop and operationalize a resource mobilization strategy for Tawi consult. Identify grants and other fund-raising opportunities that are in line with the organizations' mandate. Lead the development and packaging of grant proposals and other funds –raising activities. The position is also responsible for the development, maintenance, and expansion of partnerships with funders, clients and other strategic collaborators

Specific Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Work in close collaboration with district level, RCT & RFP’s to ensure coordination and complementarities of monitoring and evaluation activities to enhance regular data collection and submission
2. Work in collaboration with the project technical teams to review program performance and service statistics of each clubs
3. Contribute to the development and presentation of periodic reports to key stakeholders
4. Contribute to documentation and dissemination of best practices and lessons learned.
5. Support development and implementation of data quality improvement and quality assurance (QA/QI) plans for the program;
6. Coordinate quarterly data collection and analysis at site/district/regional level;
7. Assist in the compilation of Semi and Annual Progress Reports (S/APRs), including quarterly reports
8. Producing a variety of written documents e.g. human-interest stories, abstracts, data summaries, workshop reports, etc.
9. Actively participate in routine internal and external data quality assessments;
10. Deploy relevant measures for reviewing performance across sites within the regions in line with program and TAWI standards;
11. Compile and analyze data for performance monitoring and evaluation of the project and work with partners at a regional level to analyze and utilize data to take a corrective act
12. Support subgrantees in preparation of implementable annual work plans;
13. Certify completion of Milestones by subgrantees as per prior agreed specifications;
14. Perform any other related duties as assigned by the Supervisor from time to time.
Required Qualifications, Knowledge and Skills:
1. Required Education: Bachelor's Degree in Statistics, Social Sciences (Economics, Sociology, Development Studies, Social work), Population, Pubic health, Health Informatics or Monitoring & Evaluation or any medical degree; Master’s degree will be an added advantage.
2. Required experience: Minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience in a similar position
3. Ability to use any statistical analysis software
4. Good Facilitation skills
5. Good computer literacy in basic Microsoft packages, any database management and visualization software (excel, access, Tableau, etc.)
6. Interpreting data and analyzing result using statistical technique also providing ongoing report using ODK collects Excel
7. Proven Computer skills and strong knowledge of MS Office applications especially Excel.
8. Good planning and organization skills.
9. Experience with creating strong working relationships with external stakeholders at national, regional, council, and community level to implement programs.
10. Self -driven and results-oriented.
