Invitation for Tenders

1. The Government of the Republic of Burundi has set aside funds for the construction and supervision works of the Kwala Dry Port’s fence during the financial year 2023/2024. It is intended that part of the proceeds of the fund will be used to cover eligible payment under the contract for the Proposed construction of Kwala Dry Port Plot’s Fence-belonging to Burundi.
2. The Central Corridor Transit Transport Facilitation Agency now invites tenders from contractors registered or capable of being registered in Class Five and above for construction of Proposed construction of Kw ala Dry Port Plot’s Fence-belonging to Burundi.
3. Tendering will be conducted through the Central Corridor Procurement Manual of 2023 and is open to all Tenderers as defined in the Regulations unless otherwisestated in the Tender Data Sheet.
4. Interested eligible Tenderers may obtain further information and inspect the Tendering Documents provided in the National newspaper.
5. A complete set of Tendering Document(s) in English may be obtained physically at the Central Corridor Transit Transportation Facilitation Agency offices 2^nd Floor Acacia Estate, Plot 84 Kinondoni Road Rooms 202, P.O.Box 2372, Dar-es-salaam, Tanzania.

6 The cost of the Tender document is 100,000 Tshs (One Hundred Thousand Tanzanian Shillings) non-refundable to be paid through Account number 0150210229700- CENTRAL CORRDIOR TTFA at CRDB Bank.

7. All Tenders must be accompanied by a Tender security TZS 100,000,000 (One Hundred Million) or freely con­vertible currencies.
8. All Tenders must be properly filled in and submitted physically Five (5) copies (one original and four copies) at Central Corridor Transit Transportation Facilitation Agency offices 2^nd Floor Acacia Estate, Plot 84 Kinondoni Road Rooms 202, O.Box 2372, Dar-es-salaam, Tanzania at or before [11:00am 29 April 2024[. Tenders will be opened promptly thereafter at the offices.
9. Tenders not received at the office premises shall not be accepted for evaluation irrespective of the circumstances.
