TELECOM INSTALLATION FIELD TECHNICIAN – ROLLOUT – (Positions 10)
Location: Dar es salaam
The job holder will be responsible for Implementation, Optimization and deployment of reliable transmission systems / Networks to support interconnection of core elements and major transmission sites
Reports To: Project Manager
Responsibilities:
- At all times, maintain safe work practices as outlined in the company’s HSE Manual and policy as well as government regulations
- Operation of cell sites: Installation, verification and RF optimization.
- Basic knowledge in telecommunication equipment’s/technology: Mobile Radio, Mobile Core, IP, IMS networks and/or IP and Fixed networks.
- Installation & commissioning of Ericsson MW, RAN equipment
- IT skills
- Demonstrate a self-development drive
- Team player is very essential
- Excellent communication, analytical, and interpersonal skills
- Must have ability to deal with complex concepts and details
- Multi-tasking, solving problems through collaboration, improvement and focused on results and with ability to adapt to change.

- GSM/UMTS/4G site integration- 2G, 3G & 4G.

Minimum Educational Qualifications:
- Diploma or Degree in Telecommunication engineering or related field.
- 1-2Years Experience on installation and commissioning of Microwave and RAN Ericsson Equipment.
- 2 years of work experience in telecoms preferably in a GSM environment, field operations or network management.

TELECOM RIGGERS (Positions 20)
REPORTS TO: Team Leader
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Building wireless sites on rooftops, lattice towers, guy towers and monopoles
- Tower climbing and rope access
- Install repair and remove, various types and sizes of lines including fiber optic, co-axial and DC power
- Utilize winches, crane and capstan to move loads as required
- Install structural steel, cable tray, conduits, antenna mounts, antennas, transmission lines and ancillary equipment on communication towers
- Perform all general ground procedures associated with the installation of a communication tower
carry out Installation of Radios and Antenna Systems for LTE/Microwave as well as installation of Fiber optic and Coax Cable installation tasks on steel lattice, guyed, masts, towers, rooftop and building antenna / aerial systems. - Carry out suitable and sufficient risk assessments in line with company procedures prior to work being undertaken.
- Assist in the testing of antenna systems for the purposes of fault finding and subsequent rectification.
- Conduct visual inspections of antenna Mounts, aerials, co-axial cables, fixings, feeder cables and anchor points.
- Carry out cable repairs including splicing and termination.
- Assist the team leader in the preparation and input of site reports and photographs onto the company database.
- Ensure the proper inspection and use of personal safety equipment
- Work safely on towers incorporating 100% tie off – fall protection practices
- Ensure that all company equipment is well maintained and in safe operating condition
- Ensure work is completed as per client and employer standards, prepare reports as required
- Assist in sorting RF and link material before transportation to the assigned/allocated site.
- Any other related duty as may be assigned by the Supervisor.
MINIMUM EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
- 2-years experience as a rigger
- Work at height training certificates
- Atleast 1year experience on Ericsson Equipment for MW &RAN

JOB TITLE: HEALTH, SAFETY AND MATERIAL OFFICER (Positions 2)
Location: Dar es salaam
GENERAL DESCRIPTION
The primary responsible for health and safety and control of project materials
REPORTS TO: Project Manager
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- In charge of health and safety measures in the organization
- Advising the management on health and safety issues and ensuring the company complies with Health and Safety regulation
- Monitoring and controlling safety and compliance in the organization as per the law and organization’s policy & procedures
- Carrying out safety inspections and internal audits and reporting to management with recommendations
- Ensure preventive measures, administrative control and personal protective equipment are implemented and used
- Investigate and report accidents and near misses
- Record keeping of all safety events, training and equipment’s
- Initiate disciplinary process to those who do not adhere to health and safety
- Take responsibility for all project materials and ensure Delivery of site material for Projects.
- Manage quality and risk plans of all project by ensuring they adhere to health and safety
- Provide completed documentation of projects materials, and health & safety activities
- Any other related duty as may be assigned by the Supervisor.
MINIMUM EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
- Diploma or Degree in environmental health and safety, Telecommunication or related field
- 2-3 years’ experience in Health and Safety and material management
- Working knowledge and experience of environment, health and safety
- Working knowledge of emergency and safety procedures
- Working knowledge of laws and regulations related to the environment and workplace health and safety
- NEBOSH HSE Training is an added advantage
