FLEET MANAGER
Dar es salaam
To strengthen our growing General business, we are recruiting for a Fleet Manager in our busy Operations Department in our Dar es Salaam Head Office.
The incumbent will join strong & busy team responsible for maintaining an efficient and accurate business functions.

The duties that include but are not limited to: –

  • Supervision of all Fleet matters
  • Overall management of all personnel in the Fleet Department
  • Supervision and guidance to fleet reps on fleet related matters
  • Ensure accuracy in all Fleet documentation
  • Ensure smooth running of the Fleet Office
  • Implement the Fleet Policy
  • Run and operate the Fleet P&L to align with the intended profitability of the company
  • Implement management strategies
  • Offer support to other units and projects with transport needs
  • Forecasts costs and expenditure for planning purposes
  • Maintain accurate fleet assets register
  • Offer technical management to senior management on acquisition and disposal of vehicles
  • Maintain the highest assets residual value possible
  • Ensure that you are aware of and complete all the necessary requirements of the GardaWorld Business Management System that are assigned to your department and role.
  • Ensure that daily vehicle inspections are conducted for all fleet.
  • Ensure that fitness declarations are conducted for all drivers annually.
  • Ensure that driver assessments are conducted for all drivers annually.
  • Ensure that driver aide memoir is signed by all drivers and stored with staff file.
  • Ensure that all necessary forms are uploaded onto the SharePoint system within the correct folder structure.
  • Act as the technical lead for all fleet related matters

Qualifications and experience

  • Degree in Automotive Engineering or Mechanical engineering
  • At least 7years in a busy set up operating a large fleet of vehicles
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Good knowledge of the traffic act
  • Proven hands-on workshop operations to lead from the front.

CONTRACT MANAGER
Dar es salaam

To strengthen our growing General business, we are recruiting for a Contract Manager in our Customer Services Department position in our Dar es Salaam Head Office.
The incumbent will join strong & busy team responsible for maintaining an efficient and accurate business functions.

The duties that include but are not limited to: –

  • Create, analyze, negotiate, and execute an array of special client’s contracts
  • Continuously seek business opportunities by building and maintaining relationships with clients, and other business connections.
  • Maintain contract-related documents and correspondence
  • Present contract information to relevant parties, such as stakeholders
  • Troubleshoot contract-related problems, such as breach of contract
  • Keep track of contracts and extend, renew, or close them out
  • Assist with the company’s compliance with mandatory standards
  • Stay informed about changes to relevant rules and regulations
  • Attend Pre-bid and tender openings meetings for special clients
  • Get involved with special project contracts review and operations handover
  • Preparation of contracts power point presentations to meet client criteria/requirements and any other presentations as may be required
  • Ensure Company representatives are sufficiently briefed on contracts /presentation requirements/scope and content prior to undertaking presentations to ensure efficient delivery
  • Attend post bid /contracts presentations as may be directed by the Managing Director from time to time
  • Any other duties that you may be assigned by the Senior Management

  • Minimum Education is Degree in Business Administration or any related field (Qualified Lawyer is an added Advantage)
  • At least 5 years of work experience preparing, presenting, and monitoring contracts

HEALTH & SAFETY MANAGER

KAHAMA
To strengthen our growing General business, we are looking for a reliable Health and Safety Manager in our Kahama office to ensure compliance with health and safety laws.
The incumbent will also be responsible for establishing policies that will create and maintain a safe workplace.

The duties that include but are not limited to: –

  • As a Health and Safety Manager you must have excellent attention to detail to identify hazards.
  • You will also be able to discover opportunities for improving conditions and execute various safety programs.
  • The ability to communicate guidelines to a multidisciplinary workforce is essential.
  • Develop and execute health and safety plans in the workplace according to legal guidelines
  • Prepare and enforce policies to establish a culture of health and safety
  • Evaluate practices, procedures, and facilities to assess risk and adherence to the law
  • Conduct training and presentations for health and safety matters and accident prevention
  • Monitor compliance to policies and laws by inspecting employees and operations
  • Inspect equipment and machinery to observe possible unsafe conditions
  • Investigate accidents or incidents to discover causes and handle worker’s compensation claims
  • Recommend solutions to issues, improvement opportunities or new prevention measures
  • Report on health and safety awareness, issues, and statistics

Qualifications and experience

  • Proven experience as Health and Safety manager
  • Deep understanding of legal health and safety guidelines
  • Ability in producing reports and developing relevant policies
  • Good knowledge of data analysis and risk assessment
  • Excellent organizational and motivational skills
  • Outstanding attention to detail and observation ability
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities
  • BSc/BA in Health & Safety management or Any relevant field with proven work experience is preferred
  • Valid qualification in occupational health and safety
