The University of Dar es Salaam is a public university in Dar es
Salaam, Tanzania. It was established in 1961 as an affiliate college of
the University of London. The university became an affiliate of the
University of East Africa in 1963, shortly after Tanzania gained its
independence from the United Kingdom.
The University of Dar es Salaam is the oldest and biggest public
university in Tanzania. It is situated on the western side of the city
of Dar es Salaam, occupying 1,625 acres on the observation hill, 13
kilometers from the city centre.
It was established on 1st July 1970, through parliament act no. 12 of
1970 and all the enabling legal instruments of the constituent colleges
University of Dar es salaam is one among the prestigious university in Tanzania.
The students who confirmed to join the University have now cleared selected to join various degree programs to different campus.
The University announces that, if your name appears on the list
please report at your campus on Saturday 26 October for the orientation
week which will start on Monday 28 October 2019
The university also insisted that the admission letter and joining
instruction and other important information will be sent in to your
application accounts on 16 October 2019, you will just need your login
information to access it.
