Position: Senior Communication Officer
Purpose of the position:
This new role is designed to support donor communications for Grant Acquisition and Management within World Vision Tanzania’s (WVT), Sub-Office based in Dar es Salaam. This is an opportunity for a seasoned communications practitioner to work alongside WVT’s dynamic programme and communications team to support the growth and visibility of the WVT grant projects brand, awareness-building, engagement and resource mobilization efforts.
Under the overall guidance of the Director Innovations & Strategic Partnerships and direct supervision of the Communications Manager, the Senior Communications Officer – Grants will assist in developing, executing and coordinating the communications Strategy and Annual Work Plan to deliver high quality outputs in communicating WVT’s grants development impact.
To strengthen alignment and coordination to World Vision communications policy the incumbent will work closely with the WVT Communications Officers. He/she will also be expected to collaborate with other WVT programme clusters, WV support offices, media and development partners to communicate development results of the grants.

Position: Project Coordinator
Location: Tanga

Purpose of the position:
Project Coordinator will facilitate the implementation of MoFA Japan grant project by coordinating the activities planned as communicated by Project Manager. The staff will be based at Mkinga AP office and lead day-to-day field implementation and facilitate the coordination with local government and other key stakeholder. The staff is also tasked to monitor project progress against the plan, budgets execution, and participation by the community, and report to Project Manager.

Position: Water & Civil Engineer - Mo FA Project- Mkinga

Position: Senior Program Officer - H.I.V -PEPFAR Project Mbeya

Purpose of the position:
World Vision Tanzania (WVT) is currently recruiting for the position of Senior Project Officer, HIV Response. This position will play the technical lead role in the PEPFAR FBO initiative project that WVT is currently implementing in the two regions of Songwe and Mbeya.

The Senior Project Officer (SPO) will lead capacity building of local Faith-Based Organizations (FBOs) to raise HIV awareness and reduce HIV stigma as well provide technical leadership to the FBOs to create awareness and shift social norms to prevent sexual violence and HIV risk in Very Young Adolescents (VYA). The SPO will be responsible for providing leadership and management support, coordination, and technical expertise to the implementation of high quality and integrated HIV prevention, testing and treatment services for children, adolescents, adults and pregnant and breastfeeding women across the communities and health facilities. S/he will provide technical oversight and capacity building to FBOs and health care workers in supported sites to assure delivery of quality, relevant and quantifiable services while integrating these services in clinical and community settings. S/he will work with the M&E team to standardize quality by taking lead in continuous quality improvement, tracking key performance indicators and strategies to determine progress and innovations across supported sites and communities to increase quality of HIV care and treatment interventions.

Position: Project Assistant -PEPFAR PROJECT- MBEYA
Location: Mbeya
Deadline: 06th September, 2019. 
Purpose of the position
To provide high-quality support to PEPFAR Tanzania FBO initiative project team for effective running of the office and activities/events. Observe mission and core values of World Vision and demonstrate a quality of spiritual life that is an example to others.

Major Responsibilities
Create and update training/workshop calendars to ensure effective coordination
Liaise with relevant project staff to prepare/arrange meetings/workshops/training venue, materials and logistics.
Support documentation of training/meetings/other program events and ensure reports/minutes are compiled, submitted and filed.
Handle master list of all visitors/support staff coming to WV Mbeya Office.
Coordinate and facilitate timely hotel reservations, ground transport and facilitate international/local flight bookings for staff/visitors based on their flight details.

Handle incoming mails and draft routine correspondence in response to inquiries including providing guest with general country information through email, brochures, phone etc as per policy.
Orient visitors on adult and child safeguarding policy standards and ensure signed forms are filed. Ensure security briefing is done to visitors.
Collaborate with Senior Grants and Finance Officer in preparations of participants documents for payments during project activities.
Support Senior Grants and Finance Officer on procurement issues and ensure steward use of the supplied items.
Receive parcels and support proper distribution as per distribution lists
